About Eric

Eric Dickey has worked as a classical, jazz, broadway, and church musician, composer, director, producer, arranger, teacher and recording artist, throughout the Midwest and in 13 countries around the world for the last 30 years.

Born and raised in Northwest Ohio, he received his music education from the Interlochen Arts Academy, Bowling Green State University, and all the instructors, mentors and fellow musicians he has had the honor of making music with.

Eric has performed with the Toledo Symphony, the Adrian Symphony, the Northwest Michigan symphony and the Perrysburg symphony.

He has worked with such luminaries in the jazz industry as Clark Terry , Terrance Blanchard, and Peter Erskine.

He has been the musician at many churches but spent the last 20 years as Director of music at Zoar Lutheran, ELCA in Perrysburg, Ohio, Building the program there to 13 Vocal ensembles, instrumental ensembles of all kinds, dance, drama and art with all ages and levels of experience.

Mr. Dickey has played and or been musical director for more shows than can be mentioned in virtually every theatre in Northwestern Ohio and Southeast Michigan, including: Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph, Godspell, Cabaret, Wicked, Mama Mia, Hairspray, Wizard of Oz, Oklahoma, Pirates of Penzance, Kismet and many more, in theaters including the Valentine, The Stranahan, The University of Toledo PAC.

Eric has composed over 50 works including Choral, Jazz, Symphony and Broadway pieces.

All rates for services are based on individual engagements and or agreements, and may be accompanied by a contract with 50% deposit to reserve date.

Mr. Dickey is interested in working with All levels of musicians, vocalists as an accompanist , coach, in any and every capacity, in addition to any type of musical engagements.
